Winter Retreat

The Winter Retreat, held in January of each year and is one of two such MSTP sponsored retreats, the second being held in the summer. Of the two retreats, the Winter one is generally regarded as being more rigidly scientific. At the January retreat, you will enjoy poster sessions and short scientific talks presented by fellow students as well as a talk by an invited physician scientist. For first and second year students, the winter retreat is an important opportunity to become exposed to labs and professors with whom you might consider a rotation. This retreat is also a chance for older students to learn about what fellow students are discovering in their Ph.D. work.
